Overview
This policy explains what information ClearFace collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as your name and email address.
- Images you upload to search. These are processed to run the search and then deleted.
- Enrollment data, if you choose to enroll, including a face template and the profiles you choose to show.
- Usage information, such as pages visited and searches run, used to operate and secure the service.
Biometric Data
A face template is a numeric description of a face. We create templates from uploaded images only to run the requested search.
For enrolled people, we store a face template only with their written consent. We do not sell, lease or trade biometric data. Enrollment templates are deleted when a person leaves ClearFace or within three years of their last interaction, whichever comes first.
How We Use Information
- To run searches and show results.
- To operate, maintain and secure ClearFace.
- To respond to requests and support questions.
- We do not use uploaded images to train models, and we do not sell personal information.
Sharing
We share information with service providers that help us run ClearFace, under contracts that limit their use of it. We may disclose information when required by law.
Your Choices and Rights
You can access, export or delete your data from your account or through the opt-out form. Residents of some states, including California, have additional rights, which we honor.
Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest and restrict access to personal data to people who need it.
Children
ClearFace is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
