Frequently Asked
What does a search return?
ClearFace detects every face in a photo and returns the closest match, the person's verified accounts and the pages that name them. Every result carries a confidence score.
Who can be found?
Public figures such as celebrities, athletes and creators with verified public profiles, plus anyone who has enrolled in ClearFace. Private people who have not enrolled are not returned.
How accurate is it?
Every match comes with a confidence score. Low-confidence matches are hidden by default, so you see fewer, better results.
Do you keep the photos I upload?
No. Uploads are processed to run the search and then discarded.
Can I remove myself?
Yes. Enrolled people can delete their profile in one click, and anyone can request removal from the Opt out page.
Is there an API?
An API for developers is on the roadmap. Contact us if you want early access.
